Adapt Selects OOONA to Enable Cutting-Edge Media Solutions

June 24, 2024 – OOONA, a leading provider of professional management and production tools for the media localization industry, announced today that its flagship platform, OOONA Integrated, has been selected to power Adapt, a new start-up focused on developing cutting-edge workflows for media preparation, localization, and distribution. This strategic partnership aims to leverage advanced technologies to enhance the capabilities of artists and experts within the localization process.

Adapt’s mission is to help artists and media experts utilize the latest technology to elevate their game in a competitive marketplace. By integrating multiple AI toolsets with expert users Adapt aims to offer services that quickly deliver value to its customers via enhanced quality at a reduced price point. To do so, the company intends to build upon existing, proven solutions wherever possible.

“There is no doubt that when it comes to AI in media, localization is at the tip of the spear,” says Justin Beaudin, Adapt founder and CEO. “Therefore, to be effective we have to use best-in-breed localization tools to provide competitive solutions for our internal users and clients. Thoughtful orchestration platforms such as OOONA Integrated enable us to do this faster and with less investment so we can focus on getting the right people and processes in place.”

OOONA Integrated is a combination of OOONA’s translation management system and the full suite of the company’s expanding toolkit. Hosted on AWS, it is continuously tested and monitored, TPN Gold and ISO certified. Advanced cloud technologies, Single Sign-On (SSO) and security measures ensure scalability, stability and safeguarding of client data.

“At Adapt we believe in sustainable solutions,” explains Erica Neiges, senior technology consultant and sustainability lead at Adapt. “OOONA’s cloud-based solution eliminates the need for local deployments and scales compute resources up and down to suit our fluctuating needs which is not only environmentally conscious but also good business.”

“OOONA will play a critical role in our long-term plans,” Justin Beaudin emphasizes. “We strive to be forward-looking and appreciate that OOONA already meets the key principles of MovieLabs’ 2030 Vision.”

“We are very pleased to get this partnership under way,” adds Wayne Garb, OOONA co-founder and CEO. “Our user-first approach at OOONA aligns perfectly with Adapt’s understanding of how software and cloud infrastructures can best support creative work.”
